It has been two years since his last concert, and now, Chris Rea will be coming to Prague again in two weeks. This time he will present us his new album, "Still so far to go - The Best of Chris Rea".
The concert will take place in the Congress Centre on 1st February, tickets can be bought via Ticketpro portal.

The well known The Prodigy is coming to Prague to have an unforgettable concert on this Friday. The aim of the tour is to present their new (fifth) album called "Invaders Must Die" which was launched in March 2009.

Tom Jones will arrive to Prague in a couple of days to hold a great concert in the O2 Arena on 10th of November 2009. It will be a stop within his European tour which is based on the new album called "24 hours".
Tickets can be still bought for 990 CZK - 1990 CZK, via the O2 portal. So do not hesitate and come to Prague:)

In just one month Prague will held its only International Fair for Languages, Education and Cultures in the Czech Republic.
The exhibition has been offering an ideal platform - for almost twenty years now - to present a diverse spectrum of services related to language learning - education - teaching, as well as cultures from all around the world. Annually over 100 exhibitors from over 20 countries + more than 6000 visitors attend this multinational event to which we would like to invite You as well.
The Expolingua fair will take place on 6-7 November 2009 in the "Národní dům na Vinohradech" in Prague 2.

You still have the possibility to visit this year's World Press Photo exhibition in Prague. The venue is as usually the well-known and one of the oldest Universities in Europe - Charles University - Karolinum (Ovocny trh 3, Prague 1), visiting hours are daily from 10am to 6pm, until 11th of October.

On 28 August a unique event will take place in Prague – the Pyro Music Laser Fest. By attending the event You will get to an unforgettable atmosphere of laser shows, four themes od fireworks (Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, James Bond and a surprise) accompanied by the music of four great Czech bands and artists – the Tam Tam Orchestra, Support Lesbiens, Děda Mládek Illegal Band and Katarína Knechtová.
The event will take place at Velka Chuchle, tickets can be bought via Ticketpro.

This weekend will take place the Moto GP in Czech Republic, in Brno. We have information that there are still some tickets available and we can offer accommodation in Brno for You as well, so if You are interested, do not hesitate and contact us!!

The wheather should be nice this weekend so do not stay in the city, take a tour rather to the surrounding towns and countryside!
There will be a nice program for example in Nymburk (54 km from Prague) on Saturday, 1st August 2009. The Port Festival will be held with watercraft show, music performances, cruises and so on. Nymmburk is also well known for its historical background, medieval buildings, so You surely won't be bored.

We can welcome Suzanne Vega in Prague again!
Her concert will take place in te O2 Zlute Lazne Complex (Podolske nabrezi, Prague 4) on 22 July from 7pm.

Yesterday evening at 9pm started the only internationally prestigous Czech veteran car rallye in Prague. They started from the Valdstejnsky Palace and then competed in the historical center of Prague. Today the vintage cars should get to Pribram, on the last day, on Saturday afternoon the rally will end on the Old Town Square in Prague. During the three-day long rally the cars have to accomplish 300 km. The winner will be the vehicle that can keep its chosen speed, the final ceremony and the price-giving will be held on Sunday at the Holesovice Exhibition Center.

This festival taking place near Hradec Kralove is one of the biggest outdoor summer music festivals in Czech Republic. It will be the 12th time when artists from all over the world will perform on four stages for three days. This year You can hear bands like Placebo, Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks and many others. This will be the 44th year when these intersting days take place in Karlovy Vary. The International Film Festival attracts a lot of people every year, so to simplify the system, this year You can reserve place for the chosen film trough the online ticket reservation for the first time. 1 day Festival Pass costs 200 CZK, so it is really worth it. Celebrate the upcoming summer time on the Branicka Louka (Branik Meadow) on 25 June 2009 with bands such as Apocalyptica, Support Lesbiens and DJ Lucca. The programme of Finlandia Midnight Sun will start at 6pm and go on until midnight, tickets can be bought via Ticketstream for 199 CZK.

The famous group which is just working on their new album is going to Prague in June!! The concert will be held in the Areal Eden on 25 June, from 8pm. The "Tour of the Universe" can be seen in 28 cities this year and it will be the sixth performance of Depeche Mode in Czech Republic.

On 13 May 2009 the exhibition hall of the Lucerna Palace in Prague became the part of Chinese territory. The warriors from the grave of Qin Shi Huangdi, the first Emperor of China are exhibited for the first time ever. They are masterfully crafted Chinese copies of the discoveries made in the tomb of the first Emperor of China. Qin Shi Huangdi was born in 259 AD as Ying Zheng. The work of Ralph Grüneberger and Burkard Pfrenzinger is fabulous - they transferred one of the largest archaeological discovery of the 20th century to Europe. The 150 figures of terracotta soldiers were made in their original size, including the infantry, generals, lower-rank officers, archers and 8 horses; other 1000 soldiers were made in formation to 1:10 scale.
The exhibition is open every day from 10am to 6 pm, the address of the Palace is Stepanska 61, Prague 1. Entrance fee can be paid on the spot, it is 220-250 CZK per person.
