Good points:
The location of Beta Pension is excellent with it being right on the red metro line and the tram network.
The staff there are the most helpful and friendly I have ever met anywhere I have stayed.
Everything was very clean and there was a good selection of food at breakfast.
Bad points:
The beds were uncomfortable and the pillow very thin.
You can hear the metro line and train coming past at night.
On the second floor the mens toilet door lock was broken.
On the third floor the mens toilet seat was split in half.
I would book this hotel again if the beds were more comfortable as I like the location, and the other bad points don't bother me really.

We have stayed in the apartment a couple of times and have been satisfied. We did have a problem with the electric in the flat. However it was a plesant stay.

The hotel is ideally located just a short walk from the Old Town, Charles Bridge and Wenceslaus Square and the historic rooms represent great value for money.

i'll never book a mary's hostel again. i have never seen such a poor uncleaned old hostel like the "golden sickle".
the price for an 10-bed room was zu expensive for THIS beds. unbelievable.
but the city was great.

We would like to point out that the Golden Sickle is not a Mary's hostel, we just arranged the reservation for you. The price is as it is because of the great location (right next to the Wenceslas square). Anyway, thank you for the comments, we'll send them to the hostel, so they can work on those problems.

not enough cutlery, and a second set of keys would have been useful for so many people. (Marys: thank You for the information, we completed the garniture!)

Hi, 25-30 in september we traveled in Czechia (two couples from Israel) and ordered from Mary's agency apartments at Husova 8 and Husova 9. Also we took tours across Czechia during the period.
