I wanted to say that the staff at the George hotel were EXTREMELY nice and accomodating. The hotel is well located but because it shares space with a bar I was awoken every night but drunken screams. Also, the staff is only there till 8pm and sometimes I needed them after that. When they were there they were very nice and helpful.

An excellent two days. The staff were friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant food was also very good as was the service.
Would recommend this hotel to others.

I appreciated that our rooms were left alone and NOT cleaned each day; it was nice to find the room each evening just as we had left it in the morning. The TV did not work in our room # 19. The evening desk clerk was very friendly and spoke very clear English. We enjoyed our three day stay.

Overall, very nice and very clean. The transfer service to/from the accommodation was excellent
Some points: the lightbulbs in the kitchen needed replacing. The battery had gone in the kitchen clock. We couldn't see where the clothes airer was.
When we were in Prague it was wet and cold and there was no way to turn on the central heating.
It would be very nice if there could be a kitchen sissors, a teapot and a cafetiere (there is coffee machine but it needs papers)provided. A second floor lamp in the living room would also be very nice for readers.
