The hotel was clean and warm and the service friendly even though she spoke no English and we no Czech or German. I think the biggest surprise was that it was not a regular hotel-no reception desk to get information from on where to eat or even catch the tram. We did not realize it was a pension. Where we pulled up seemed like an abandoned building so we were a little concerned. Also - there was no way to communicate - no phone or internet access. The closest phone we could find was a 10 minute walk. The whole area seemed a bit deserted although the houses looked nice. Since I do not know what a hotel in town would have cost I do not know if the price was good for the area and lack of some amentities. If the price is a lot better and now that we know the area more, I might consider booking here again - especially in the summer.

A surprisingly great accommodation in a really beautiful city. Location was great although street noise was rather unexpected. The appartment was conmfortable and perfect for a family of four. A perfect way to enjoy Prague. Thanks to Mary's travel!

-Comments about the room:
1)central heating too hot permanently without possibility to reduce or stop it!!!!
2)a paper of condom on the ground,between the wall and the bed!
3)dirty wall in the bathroom...
4)room aside,but near staircases and entrance:people were very noisy in the nights!!!
5)the price for the last 2 nights,is according to me,too expensive...
6)Why impose to pay in advance?
-About the staff of hotel:Affable and helpful staff
-about the breakfast:good.
