The Carlsbad Plaza is a luxurious 5star Spa & Wellness hotel, opened in December 2005 with a capacity of 160 rooms and Suites. The hotel is located in the quiet ambiance of the spa area of Karlovy Vary, in the vicinity of the spa facility Lázně I. (Spa I). It provides a relaxational atmosphere and connects the historical architecture of the building with modern facilities. Carlsbad Plaza offers its guests three Restaurants: A mediterranean grand buffet restaurant, the SORRENTO, an Asian restaurant with a Laosian Chef at SWEET ORIENT and a French gourmet restaurant with a French Chef at LA BOHEME.

In April 2007 the Hotel qualified to become a Member of the Leading Hotels of the World, the most prestigious Luxury Hotel Group of the World, by fulfilling 3000 Standards. Then, in May 2007 the Carlsbad Clinic, located in the adjoining building of the Carlsbad Plaza, opened.

The Carlsbad Plaza Hotel is the first Hotel offering services of a Wellnessland in such extent. The design reminds of a quiet street in the old townlet Karlsbad. Guests have the choice between a swimming pool, 7 saunas, 2 whirlpools, and an acupressure pool. The Wellnessland provides the perfect surrounding for a recovery from physical and mental stress.
