Visa Policy

For visitors from the West, the Czech Republic is - of all former socialist Central and Eastern European countries the most "tourist friendly". Nationals of the following countries do not require a visa for tourism to the Czech Republic:

For unlimited period
European Union countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, holders of the UN passport

For periods of up to 90 days
Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong (China), Israel, Japan, Macao (China), Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Republic Of Korea, Salvador, San Marino, USA, Uruguay, Vatican, Venezuela

For periods of up to 30 days
