Reopened – Golden Lane
After more than a year long reconstruction, the Golden Lane, Prague’s most visited street in the Prague Castle reopened for the public! The reconstructions were necessary as the whole canalization had to be changed, but finally every work is finished. When You visited the Golden Lane before, You have been used to the sight of small houses of goldsmiths and inside them, to the souvenir shops. Now You will find a bit different view – the exterior is the same of course, but the interior of 9 of the 16 houses has been changed, they transformed to a museum showing how the goldsmiths and other craftsmen used to live and work in the last five hundred years. It is really very interesting!
LEGO MUSEUM – the biggest in Europe
Just a couple months ago the paradise for children has been opened in the center of Prague (Narodni 31, Prague 1) – a thematically arranged Lego Museum in 3 floors. The private collection contains more than 2000 Lego models (made from more than 1 000 000 blocks), dating from 1958. It is the biggest Lego model exhibition in Europe! Each model is labeled, it is interesting to see the assemble year and the number of block used for each model. And when You have seen it all, the children can play at 3 Lego tables while You have a drink from the vending machine. Perfect program for a rainy day or any Monday – as each Monday You can get a surprise – 20% discount from the entrance fee / remuneration of Lego / 1 +1 entrance fee for free.
MOTO GP in Brno – 24-26 August 2012
Every year a weekend comes, when You should be in Brno watching the exciting race of motorcars at the Grand Prix Brno. The race has been held in Brno since 1965, and since the opening of the Masaryk Circuit in 1987, the organizers received three times the IRTA Trophy, which is given to the overall best Grand Prix of the season! This years’ race will be held in categories 125 cc, Moto2 and MotoGP and as in each year, You can be sure that it will be breath-taking! Will Lorenzo repeat his last years’ victory?
