NATIONAL GALLERY IN PRAGUE
Prague's largest art museum whose purpose is to acquire, collect, preserve and present the works of art and sculpture and make sure they are protected, documented and catalogued.
- Opening hours: all permanent National Gallery exhibitions are open daily except mondays 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Entrance: Collection of old arts (entrance valid for 2 days): full 240,- CZK, discounted 120,- CZK
- Gift ticket: a ticket to all national Gallery exhibitions in Prague. Ticket valid year-round. Ticket for two: 900,- CZK, ticket for one: 500,- CZK. An ideal gift for art lovers.

PRAGUE CITY GALLERY
- Founded in 1963. It had to collect, conserve, study and exhibit Czech art of the 19th and 20th centuries. At the same time it was responsible for restoration and erection of monuments, sculptures, memorial tablets and fountains in public places in Prague. All exhibitions are closed on Mondays.

- Exhibition: Frantisek Bilek's drawings from 1892 - 1900. The permanent exhibition of this leading Art Nouveau artist was extended this year and now includes Bilek's early drawings. In the drawings from 1892 - 1900 Bilek looked for an adequate sculptural expression for his meditations on Jesus Christ. He produced a large number of studies and preparatory sketches which resulted in his sculpture entitled Crucified (1899) placed in St. Vitus Cathedral at the Prague Castle. Several other drawings from the 90's focus on the appurtenance of a human being with the entire universe. Until Nov. 30.
