NATIONAL MARIONETTE THEATRE
W. A. Mozart - Don Giovanni
Mozart composed "The Opera of Operas", Don Giovanni, especially for Prague, where he personally conducted the first performance in the Estates Theatre (Stavovske divadlo) in 1787. National Marionette Theatre presents this brilliant opera in the unique version using the classical marionettes. Tall marionettes as well as the stylish period costumes and original stage effects can be seen in the performance. It is presented in the original Italian librette and lasts about two hours (8pm - 10pm). The production celebrates Mozart's period and the atmosphere of this era in a form of authentic 18th century spectacle.

THE BLACK LIGHT THEATRE
Lior Kalfo - WOW 3D Stage Show
You are invited to the world first 3D stage show! Dancers will fly above your heads, colorful fishes and butterflies will fill the theatre and you just might find yourself under a 6 meter giant spider. Prague's black-light theatre is at its best in this extraordinary extravaganza that combines ultra-violet lights and fluorescent colors with special effects, creating a rare magical moment that will "wow" you forever! The show was written and directed by Lior Kalfo who, despite his youth, has already received prestigious awards for his work in comedy. In 1995 he wrote and performed the sitcom "The Comedy Store" which has won many prizes.

PRAGUE EASTER MARKETS

The Prague Easter Markets ate the Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square run to over 100 stalls. A wide selection of hand crafted goods are on show, including wooden toys, crystal glasses, candles, jewelery, metal ware, intricate pieces of embroidery, puppets and dolls in regional costume dresses. The most common feature is the brightly coloured, hand-painted Easter eggs. Czech ladies, beautifully dressed in traditional costume, will personalize the Easter eggs, painting on your name or a special message.

PRAGUE SPRING

The Prague Spring International Music Festival - 66th year is a permanent showcase for outstanding performing artist, symphony orchestras and chamber music ensembles of the world. Founded soon after World War II, Prague Spring quickly established itself as one of the continent´s major classical festivals. The offerings have expanded to take in contemporary groups in addition to the high-quality classical orchestras.
Venue: Rudolfinum, National Theater, Municipal House, State Opera, Theatre Archa, Prague Congress Center, Valdstein Garden, Academy of Music (Martinu Hall), Church of Our Lady before Tyn, Church of Simon and Jude, CNB Hall, Mercedes Forum Hall.
KHAMORO 2010 – WORLD GYPSY FESTIVAL PRAGUE
23.05. - 28.05.2011
This festival will show Roma culture of the highest quality from the whole world (traditional music, classical music, gypsy jazz, films, theater, literature, dance, painting, photographs, expert workshops etc.).
Venue: Lucerna big hall, Roxy club, Globe Cafe, Jazz Club Reduta, FHS UK, Gallery Oliva, Little shop Romen, Polish Institute in Prague, Hungarian Cultural Institute.
SUMMER SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL
June – September 2011
The Supreme Burgrave´s House at the Prague Castle plays host to a summer celebration of the work of William Shakespeare. The Czech Shakespeare Festival was first held in 1994, and also visits Brno, Ostrava and Bratislava.

PRAGUE WRITERS' FESTIVAL
16.04. - 20.04.2011
Prague Writers' Festival is significant literary-cultural events, that is coming to Prague every year. 2011 will be the 21th year of the festival. This makes the Prague Writer's Festival one of the oldest literary festivals in Europe—older even than those in Berlin and Edinburgh.
This year's theme will be “Some Like It Hot”.
The festival's program will be available on its website, www.pwf.cz, during
the month of March.

NEW PRAGUE DANCE FESTIVAL
02.07. - 08.07.2011
Tanec Praha (literally „Dance Prague“) has been the city´s major dance festival since its inception in 1989. An exciting development in 2001 was the assumption of the newly-refurbished Ponec Theatre as the festival´s main venue, as well as the extension of events to other cities like Brno, Hradec Kralove or Olomouc.

PRAGUE AUTUMN FESTIVAL

The Prague Autumn Festival ends the string of major European summer festivals in the same way that the Prague Spring Festival opened up the continent-wide artistic frenzy five months earlier. Although not as long established, Prague Autumn has, since 1991, rapidly gained a reputation for attracting the world´s great artists and ensembles.
