Prague news
Prague with kids in the winter

Traveling with children can sometimes be problematic. You have to find activities which engross their attention and it is not the easiest thing to do. Therefore we collected You a few winter programs which could be added to your sightseeing plans and which the children would love for sure!

First of all we would like to mention the indoor Aquapalace, the biggest water park in Central Europe. No matter whether it is raining or maybe too windy all day, You can spend a joyful couple of hours or even full day here!

Other children-friendly activity for the winter time is ice-skating. If You lose your child’s attention after a few hours of sightseeing, rest for a while next to one of the ice-skating grounds of the historical center. Your children will love to have fun and circle on the ice! You can rent all equipment for them on the spot.

If You are already in the center and the children get tired, have a rest in one of the chocolate paradises of Prague historical center. You can find a Chocolate Museum with all the history, a Chocolate House where You can even try to paint with chocolate, or simply have a delicious cup of chocolate in the Chocolate Cafe!

For dinner we would recommend a really unique restaurant which can be found right on the Wenceslas Square. It is called Vytopna. They have great cuisine but the really interesting thing is how they serve the drinks – by model trains along 400 meters of model railway! Children just love this place, they can have fun watching the different types of trains while You have a pleasant meal.
