Prague Zoo

If you travel with kids, we recommend you to visit Prague zoo. Zoo has reopened the new pavillon for elephants and hippos. Visitors will see the most modern elephant house in Europe with a number of artifacts, e.g. Hindu ashram, Buddhist temple, statue of Ganeshe (god of a elephants, representing loyality, intelligence and strength) and statue od Shiva. You can also try how is is to be on the back of an elephant due to a simulator rides.

Happy Mondays in Prague zoo In addition, Prague zoo is offering entrance for 1 CZK throughout the whole year ane each month (this offer is aimed at a different selected groups of visitors).

World Premier

The cultural event of the year! Ivan Lendl is for the first time publicly exposing his private collection of original posters of Alfons Mucha. Overall, you can see 122 works. The exhibition is held at the Municipal House. The price for an adult is 180,- CZK. There is a possible discount for students, families or groups.

Karel Zeman Museum

Do you know a famous Czech director, screenwriter and fine artist Karel Zeman? He made Czech cinematography famous throughout the world in the 20th century. His work include a several short, medium - length and feature - length films, among which are An Invention for Destruction, Baron Munchausen or Journey to Prehistory.

The museum maps the life and work of Karel Zeman. Visitors can see the exhibition in an interactive way using and animation and special effects which were typical for Zeman works. Museum is located in Sasky dvůr, next to the Charles bridge.

Český Krumlov

This charming city situated in the southwest district of Czech Republic is without doubt one of the most stunning places. Beginning of this town is dated back to the 13th century and at present the town is well preserved in its medieval form and keeps its unforgettable atmosphere. Most of tourists visiting Cesky Krumlov compare this town to Prague, because of its beautiful historic appearance.

Castle and Chateau dominates the northern part of an urban preservation area that is listed in the UNESCO World Index of Cultural and Natural Heritage (since 13th December 1992).

Karlove Vary

World famous for its regenerative waters, Karlovy Vary is the oldest of the Bohemian spas, and probably the second most popular tourist city in the Czech Republic, after Prague. It's also the most beautiful of the 'big three' spas in the republic and, despite the crowds, the most accessible.
