Grat news for all fans of the history! The exceptionally successful exhibition "Tutankhamun – His Tomb and his Treasures" has been extended till September! Tutankhamun is probably the most mysterious figures in Egyptian history and his tomb and treasures keep fascinating people all around world.
And now, you have still chance to see it in Prague!
The exposition exhibits more than 1000 objects - perfect replicas produced under scientific supervision.
The reason is that fragile original object cannot be exhibited like in a classic museum.
Did you know that also in classic museums, some of original artefacts are not exhibited for public, and what you admire is just a replica?
This world heritage is to be preserved for future generations, as they are extremely fragile.
The exposition cannot be seen in this form anywhere else in the world, not even in Egypt. The reason is that the original tomb of Tutankhamun was completely emptied.
The exposition takes place in Vystaviste Praha and is opened every day from 10:00 to 18:00.
The admission fee on weekdays is 350 CZK/adult and 200 CZK/child, and on weekends 390 CZK/adult and 220 CZK/child
